Hi. I like to make things. This is what I created. I'll let him speak for himself. Less talkin' more playin'!
I'm Korg, and I'd like to take you on a tour of my mind, the things I like to do, and my house. I recommend you bare your feets, I just polished the floor with my butt, weeee!
I'm not sure where I came from, but I hope it was outer space.
I'm trying to make a song about my favourite book. My korg keyboard is my favourite thing. I heard it came from a place called Erp.
Smile for the camera buddy.
Did that candle just go out?
Here's my pet. I sometimes let her out but not now. She would eat your soul, and your camera.
I don't even have a basket. I just like to hold it, and pretend it's a planet, with really small creatures on it. If I breathe out too fast, their houses blow away...
Come on Link, you can do it!
This is awesome!
At night time, I like to lie down and contemplate my ideas about the cosmos. I wonder how I got here, who made me and why I don't have a normal spine like all the others. Then I feel lucky, because I like skellingtons.
Here are a couple of concept sketches. There was actually a plant like the one in the picture, but it needs more work before being camera ready. Or maybe it's just shy?
The sculpture was originally intended as a stop motions puppet, but my haste in creating him caused me to make a few mistakes. Unfortunately, he's too wobbly for stop motion, but he's really good at posing for stills. His whole body started with an armature made from copper wire and hot glue.
Here are some pictures of how it happened. It started out looking just like dimetrodon. They could be bros.
He'd like to come and meet us, but he thinks he'd blow our minds...
Tesla the cat is definitely a scientist.
After making the main shapes with tin foil. I used Das air hardening clay. First was applied as a slip and when layers are dry, I begin to sculpt reptilian form.
Eyes are bear/doll eyes I repainted and added "eyeball" from polymer clay. I found a big bag of reptilian eyes a long time ago at a sale and can make any colour I like!
Head was difficult but worth it.
Almost done. I felt relief now until painting... Arg.
That's all folks. Anyone seen my pet?
